Do I need to be a clinician?

You do not need to be a clinician to work with Lilli. Although many clients come from healthcare and surgical backgrounds, her coaching and courses are designed for anyone seeking to build confidence, leadership, clarity, and high performance in clinical or high-pressure environments. Each experience is tailored to the individual’s background, goals, and stage of their professional journey.

Which option is most suitable for me?

The most suitable option depends on your goals, availability, preferences, and the level of support you are looking for. One-to-one coaching is ideal for those who want personalised support and deeper transformation. Self-directed courses offer self-paced learning and reflection with structured content and practical tools. If you are unsure, a discovery call can help determine the best fit.

What's the difference between coaching and therapy?

Coaching focuses on the present and future, helping you clarify goals, develop skills, and take aligned action. Therapy often explores past experiences, emotional healing, and psychological conditions. Coaching does not replace therapy, but it can complement it by supporting growth, performance, and forward momentum once emotional foundations are in place. Lilli works closely with psychologists and other professionals who support surgeons, should their expertise be required.

What sort of things do surgeons come to coaching for?

Surgeons seek coaching for different personal or professional challenges, or areas of potential growth. They may have specific issues to work on like performance anxiety around clinical work, stepping up or the exam. They may be weighing up decisions around jobs and fellowships, want to reconnect with what is important to them, or redress the balance in their life. There are infinite topics, and they are all welcome to explore, develop awareness around and move forward towards where you want to be.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies depending on your objectives. Some clients achieve clarity and progress in a small number of sessions, while others choose longer-term coaching for sustained development, confidence building, or leadership growth. A personalised recommendation is made during the initial consultation based on your needs, and can be revisited as the coaching journey progresses.

Can I pay session by session?

Yes, it is possible to pay session by session. Flexible payment options may also be offered, depending on the programme.

How frequently do you have the sessions?

Sessions are usually every week or two, especially at the beginning of the coaching journey. Depending on your goals, schedule and level of support needed, they can be less frequent. We will always adapt your programme to ensure steady progress without adding unnecessary pressure.
